In a recent online dispute, actor Darshan Thoogudeepa’s wife, Vijayalakshmi, engaged in a heated exchange with model-turned-actor Pavitra Gowda. The conflict escalated on Thursday when Vijayalakshmi threatened legal action against Pavitra for sharing photos and videos with her husband.
The disagreement commenced when Vijayalakshmi posted a family photo with her husband Darshan and their son, expressing devotion to family. Shortly afterward, Pavitra shared a video collage featuring moments from her purported decade-long relationship with Darshan, causing tensions to rise.
In response, Vijayalakshmi posted images of Pavitra Gowda with her husband Sanjay Singh and their daughter, accusing Pavitra of insensitivity and questioning her character. She vowed to take strict legal action against those attempting to tarnish her family’s image.
Darshan, currently basking in the success of his film “Kaatera,” faced an unexpected twist as a scheduled press meet celebrating the film’s success was abruptly canceled with no clear explanation just one hour before the event.
This isn’t the first time Vijayalakshmi has confronted individuals associated with Darshan. In February 2023, she criticized actress Megha Shetty for posting a video of Darshan’s birthday celebrations hosted by Pavitra Gowda. The ongoing tensions date back almost a decade to 2011 when Vijayalakshmi accused Darshan of domestic violence, leading to his 14-day judicial custody.
Furthermore, rumors of Darshan’s relationship with Pavitra surfaced in 2015, and despite sharing a photo with Darshan in 2017, Pavitra later removed it due to backlash from Darshan’s fans. As the latest controversy unfolds, Darshan has yet to make a statement.
