In a thrilling cinematic treat for Ravi Teja fans, the latest release ‘Eagle,’ directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, has hit the silver screen. Initially scheduled for a Makar Sankranti release, the film faced tough competition during the festive season, prompting the makers to postpone its launch.
Finally gracing theaters on February 9, 2024, ‘Eagle’ has garnered an enthusiastic response from audiences. Sacnilk reports that on its debut day, the film amassed an impressive Rs. 5.50 crore at the Indian box office.
The movie boasted a respectable occupancy rate, recording 32.56 percent in the Telugu region and an even higher 48 percent in the Hindi belt.
‘Eagle’ seems poised to join the ranks of blockbuster hits, as acclaimed Director Prasanth Varma, known for the success of ‘Hanu-Man,’ expressed his jubilation on Twitter. He shared, “BLOCKBUSTER reports from EVERYWHERE! ???? Super happy for Mass Maharaja @Raviteja_offl garu, @Karthik_gatta, @vishwaprasadtg garu, and the entire team of #Eagle.”
Notably, social media has been abuzz with reviews, with netizens drawing parallels between the climax of Nani starrer ‘Dasara’ and Ravi Teja’s action-packed flick ‘Eagle.’
On the professional front, Ravi Teja’s last appearance was in the pan-Indian film ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao.’ The actor continues to captivate audiences with his dynamic performances, and ‘Eagle’ seems to be another feather in his cap.
