In a significant development for the highly-anticipated Telugu action thriller ‘Devara,’ starring Jr NTR, fans are buzzing with excitement over the latest casting update. According to a recent report by Gulte, the filmmakers have cast Marathi actress Shruti Marathe opposite Jr NTR.
Details surrounding Shruti’s role have been kept tightly under wraps, adding to the intrigue surrounding the film’s narrative and the fresh on-screen pairing with Jr NTR. Industry speculations suggest that Jr NTR might be portraying a dual role in the film, although there has been no official confirmation from the production team. The prospect of witnessing Jr NTR in two distinct avatars has heightened anticipation among his fan base.
Directed by Koratala Siva, ‘Devara’ boasts an ensemble cast featuring Saif Ali Khan as the main antagonist, Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, and seasoned actors including Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh.
