The highly anticipated show, a distinctive fusion of live-action and anime, promises an unparalleled adventure for viewers. Set to debut exclusively on Hulu in the U.S., Dragons of Wonderhatch seamlessly blends the “real world” with a fantastical realm inhabited by majestic dragons.
Scheduled to make its debut on Disney+ from December 20th, Dragons of Wonderhatch introduces two protagonists: Nagi, a high school student navigating the complexities of reality, and Tyme, a denizen of a parallel world where the skies echo with the calls of dragons, forming a unique bond between rider and beast.
Sena Nakajima portrays Nagi, while Daiken Okudaira, known for his role in the live-action Insomniacs After School, steps into the character of Tyme. The stellar ensemble includes Yoshito Emmanuelle as Nagi’s confidant, Son, and Mackenyu Arata as the dragonrider Akuta. Rena Tanaka, Masaki Miura, Riko Narumi, and SUMIRE join the live-action cast, each contributing depth to the fantastical narrative.
