In a cinematic clash at the box office, the Telugu film ‘Salaar’ featuring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan hit theaters on December 22, earning over Rs 400 crore within its first four days. Going head-to-head with the Kannada origin mass action film was the Bollywood family drama ‘Dunki,’ directed by Rajkumar Hirani and starring Shah Rukh Khan, which released on December 21.
Despite both films garnering positive reviews from audiences and film enthusiasts, actress Payal Ghosh expressed her controversial opinion on Twitter, stating, “The movies released in 2023 are unwatchable. All the worst movies are coming. Dunki and Salaar are the worst. For the first time in his career, Rajukumar Hirani made a flop film. Dunki and Salaar are the two worst movies. But Salaar movie will get huge collections, because Prabhas is a young and powerful person.”
Ghosh’s comments have sparked a reaction among internet users, with many dismissing her perspective and suggesting that she seeks attention amid challenges in her career.
