In a recent press conference, lead actor Prithviraj Sukumaran shared insights into the remarkable dedication exhibited by director Blessy during the making of the highly anticipated film ‘Aadujeevitham’. Prithviraj, who also serves as a director, expressed admiration for Blessy’s unwavering commitment, highlighting the 16 years Blessy devoted to the project. “Blessy, sir, never made a single compromise for his vision. I doubt I could ever match that level of dedication,” remarked Prithviraj, emphasizing the magnitude of Blessy’s achievement.
Blessy himself addressed the challenges encountered during the adaptation of the beloved book into a film, acknowledging the monumental task given the book’s popularity among Malayalis. With the film initially spanning 3.5 hours due to the extensive narrative, adjustments were made to streamline the storytelling process while retaining the essence of the book.
Renowned composer A.R. Rahman discussed the meticulous process of scoring the film’s music, underscoring his relentless pursuit of perfection. Other notable figures present at the press conference included sound designer Resul Pookutty and actors Amala Paul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Rik Aby, and Akef Najem.
