In a much-anticipated return to Malayalam cinema, Fahadh Faasil is set to grace the screens of M-Town with his upcoming film ‘Aavesham’, directed by Jithu Madhavan. Faasil, known for his versatile performances, will be portraying the role of a goon in this venture, as confirmed by a teaser released earlier.
The actor himself revealed the release date through a newly unveiled poster, announcing that ‘Aavesham’ is scheduled to hit theaters starting April 11, 2024.
Directed by Jithu Madhavan, whose debut film ‘Romancham’ enjoyed blockbuster success last year, ‘Aavesham’ boasts a stellar cast including Manzoor Ali Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sajin Gopu, popular Malayali gamer and YouTuber Hipzster, among others.
‘Aavesham’ is centered around a group of college students and their encounter with a goon who steps in to assist them, drawing parallels with the narrative style of ‘Romahcham’, which was also inspired by real-life events.
Handling the cinematography is Sameer Thahir, while Vivek Harshan takes charge of editing. The film’s music is composed by Sushin Shyam, with lyrics penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. Scheduled for release during the Vishu-Eid festival season, ‘Aavesham’ promises to captivate audiences with its gripping storyline and talented ensemble cast.
Meanwhile, another eagerly awaited film, ‘Premalu’, is also gearing up for release, adding to the excitement of cinema enthusiasts.
