Actors Brave Freezing Conditions While Shooting Romantic Song in Leh
Sapthami Gowda, a prominent actress, recently shared insights into the challenges faced during the filming of a romantic song amidst the snow-clad mountains of Leh. Despite the picturesque setting, the biting cold presented numerous hurdles for the cast and crew.
Gowda recounted the difficulties encountered during the shoot, including the lack of functional amenities in the peak winter season. With hotels closed, the team had to make do with limited resources, relying on kettles to heat water for basic needs like washing hair.
Moreover, the absence of restrooms on location meant that the actors had to trek long distances to secluded spots, braving the freezing temperatures. Gowda revealed the struggles of wearing glamorous gowns without thermals, as they would show under the attire. The use of blowers to create cinematic effects added to the discomfort.
Altitude sickness was another challenge faced by the crew, with Gowda admitting to avoiding any triggers to maintain her composure. The shooting schedule began as early as 5 am to maximize daylight, lasting until 4 pm.
Despite the harsh conditions, Gowda expressed her appreciation for the experience, highlighting the dedication of the team in overcoming the obstacles encountered during the shoot.
