Birthday tributes poured in for the late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar as fans and celebrities commemorated his birth anniversary on Sunday. Devoted admirers and fellow actors gathered at Kanteerava Studio to pay respects at his memorial. Across Karnataka, fan clubs organized blood donation drives and distributed food in his honor. Additionally, Puneeth Rajkumar’s image graced a billboard in New York’s Times Square.
In a bid to honor the iconic actor, KRG Studios and PRK have announced plans to re-release Puneeth Rajkumar’s debut film, “Appu,” on his 50th birth anniversary next year. Filmmaker Karthik Gowda revealed that the restoration process for the film will commence in April.
Kannada actors took to social media platforms to express their sentiments on the occasion. Kichcha Sudeep, Yogesh, and Rakshit Shetty were among those who paid homage to Puneeth Rajkumar’s enduring legacy.
