Shana Wall, a 50-year-old actress known for her past relationship with Ryan Seacrest, has filed a lawsuit against an American airline after suffering serious injuries from ingesting plastic particles in a beverage during a flight. Wall, who was traveling from John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York, to Rome, claims the airline provided her with a contaminated drink that led to significant harm.
The lawsuit, filed on Monday at the Manhattan Supreme Court, alleges that Wall sustained injuries to her throat, esophagus, vocal cords, and digestive system on May 1. The former ‘Amazing Race’ contestant reportedly required medical attention and was bedridden due to internal injuries.
In her lawsuit, Wall argues that American Airlines failed in its duty to provide safe, uncontaminated beverages and food, which created a hazardous condition on the flight. The airline has not yet responded to the claims.
Wall, who dated Seacrest from 2003 to 2005, has not commented further on the case. However, her social media photos from mid-May show her enjoying wine in Italy following the incident.
