Despite a busy schedule, Shiva Rajkumar, accompanied by actor Gautham Karthik, took a poignant moment to pay tribute to the late actor Vijayakanth at his memorial.
Vijayakanth, who succumbed to COVID-19 on December 28, 2023, received condolences from the entire Kollywood community, and his memorial became a pilgrimage site for thousands of grieving fans from across the state.

Following their homage at the memorial, Shiva Rajkumar and Gautham Karthik extended their condolences by visiting Vijaykanth’s residence to meet his widow, Premalatha Vijayakanth, and her sons.
Notably, the entire ‘Captain Miller’ team, including Shiva Rajkumar and actor Suriya, had paid their respects to the late actor during the film’s pre-release event a few days earlier. The industry’s collective mourning reflects the deep impact of Vijayakanth’s legacy on the film fraternity.
