Prithviraj Sukumaran’s highly anticipated film ‘Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life)’ is set to grace the big screens today, March 28. As the release date approaches, the actor’s wife and producer, Supriya Menon, has penned a heartfelt note expressing her admiration and best wishes for him.
On Wednesday night (Mar 27), Menon took to social media to share her sentiments. She reminisced about their 16-year journey together, stating, “What do you call a 16-year journey that’s culminating tomorrow? I’ve known @therealprithvi since 2006 November and been married to him since 2011. I have seen him through many, many films. But nothing like this ever before.”
Acknowledging Prithviraj Sukumaran’s incredible dedication and physical transformation for the film, Menon wrote, “I’ve seen you through the crazy fasting days where you’ve been ‘Hangry’ constantly, watched you drop weight, and feel too tired and weak. When the whole world was together during COVID, we were apart, communicating through patchy internet during the few precious seconds when you had enough bandwidth in the desert camp. The missed opportunities in various other languages due to this one film. Through it all, you maintained focus; this was the journey you chose to undertake for the sake of art and all that it stood for you.”
Expressing her unwavering support and admiration, Menon declared, “For me, Prithviraj is always THE G.O.A.T! Along with @blessyofficial and all the others, you took this journey featuring mind, body, and spirit to embody the life of one man on screen. As all your efforts draw to fruition tomorrow (28th March), I have only one thing to say: the dedication that you show is unparalleled and unmatched in my eyes. Furthermore, veteran actor Kamal Haasan has praised ‘Aadujeevitham’, to which Prithviraj Sukumaran responded, “I’d consider this as big an award.”
Directed by Blessy, ‘Aadujeevitham’ is an adaptation of Benyamin’s best-selling novel of the same name.
