In a recent update, the much-anticipated Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Rambo’ has faced yet another delay. Initially set to start filming in April 2024 under the direction of Rohit Dhawan and Siddharth Anand, the project has been pushed back due to budgetary constraints.
According to a report from Bollywood Hungama, the film, with an estimated budget of Rs. 150 crore, is being produced in collaboration with Jio Studios. However, the studio has decided to delay the commencement of ‘Rambo’ until after the release of the Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.’ The budget for ‘Rambo’ will be reassessed based on the performance and success of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.’
The trailer for ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is set to release on a yet-to-be-announced date, and its outcome will significantly impact the next steps for ‘Rambo.’ As it stands, the earliest possible start date for ‘Rambo’ is now July 2024, contingent upon the results of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.’
Siddharth Anand is producing ‘Rambo’ in collaboration with Jio Studios, with direction by Rohit Dhawan. Casting and other production aspects are expected to commence following the release of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.’
