The Randeep Hooda and Ankita Lokhande-starrer ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ has been receiving positive reviews and is performing well at the box office. Following its successful release, the film’s makers hosted a special screening on Saturday night in Mumbai, which was attended by the lead actors along with Lin Laishram and Vicky Jain.
Randeep Hooda, who also directed the film, looked dapper in a black tee paired with a grey jacket and pants. Lin Laishram was a vision in white, while Ankita Lokhande charmed in a turquoise blue saree and Vicky Jain looked handsome in a casual ensemble.
The Marathi version of ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ was slated for release tomorrow but has been postponed, as confirmed by sources.
The film opened with a modest collection of Rs 1.50 crore on Friday but saw a significant jump on Saturday, raking in a total of Rs 3.30 crore. Given its positive reviews, the movie is expected to witness a further surge in its collections on Sunday. Unlike ‘Madgaon Express,’ no special offers are available for this film. It is projected to earn between Rs 4-5 crores on Sunday, and its overall success will hinge on sustaining this momentum during the weekdays to ensure a decent first-week collection.
