In a significant career move, VJ Adams is set to make his debut as a filmmaker with “Can,” a romantic thriller boasting a cast from various South Indian cinema realms. The film features Kalaiyarasan, Pranavi Manukonda, Hemanth Menon, and Akshara Rajan in pivotal roles, alongside a stellar ensemble including Thambi Ramaiah, Robo Shankar, Kovai Sarala, Karunakaran, Yashika Aannand, Maran, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley, Kausalya, and Sriman.
Speaking about the project, Adams disclosed, “The story unfolds over eight days in a girl’s life, presenting a romantic thriller reminiscent of Vaalee. The script combines writing elements inspired by Balachander sir’s films with the storytelling styles of Bhagyaraj sir and SJ Suryah.”
Detailing the film’s narrative, Adams elaborated on the exploration of a girl’s journey on a Sunday night as she embarks on a car ride to a club. The movie promises an engaging experience, weaving together the essence of classic Tamil cinema with a contemporary touch.
