Arshad Warsi recently collaborated with Malaika Arora and Farah Khan as they served as judges on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 11. The trio’s on-screen chemistry was a highlight of the show, and their behind-the-scenes moments, particularly bonding over food, went viral.
In a recent interview, Arshad Warsi opened up about his close bond with Farah Khan and Malaika Arora. He shared, “I have always known Farah! Like, forever! We know each other since we were kids. Being with her together after so many years was delightful. I enjoyed it. As far as Malla (Malaika) is concerned I knew her but now I know her very well and I love her even more. I admire and respect both Farah and Malla for who they are. They are women who are so strong and have done so well for themselves. They came from nowhere and see where they are today.”
Reflecting on his experience shooting with them, Arshad remarked, “Farah just loves to feed people. She is like this mama on set. So, on Mondays when we used to shoot she would come with food and say she doesn’t care about the diet on this day as she follows it on the rest of the days of the week. I remember once Maria (Arshad’s wife) sent food for us which was out of the world. I enjoyed hanging out on set with these two. On the panel one sat on the left, and the other on my right and I used to listen to all their nonsensical talks (laughs).”
Known for his friendly nature and good rapport with co-stars, Arshad Warsi shared his mantra for getting along with everyone. He said, “See, I am a non-complicated guy. What you see is what you get. So, people who are like me non-complicated they are cool and get along with me!”
