Renowned filmmaker R Chandru, riding high on the success of Kabzaa, has announced a grand cinematic venture with the launch of five pan-Indian films under the banner of RC Studios. The upcoming projects, titled Father, POK, Dog, Shree Rama Bana, and the highly anticipated sequel Kabzaa 2, signify a significant investment of Rs 500 crore over the next two years, showcasing the studio’s commitment to delivering cinematic brilliance.
The success of Kabzaa has been a pivotal factor in inspiring Chandru to embark on this ambitious journey. “Kabzaa gave me an immense boost to start five films. Now, I am launching these films under my RC Studio Banner. We are investing Rs 500 crore to start these projects, and Anand Pandit and Alankar Pandian are backing us,” says Chandru.
Noteworthy Bollywood producers Anand Pandit and Alankar Pandiyan, who played crucial roles as co-producers of Kabzaa, express their excitement about their association with Chandru for these new ventures. “I have seen the honest effort Chandru has put in for Kabzaa. I am very glad for his new ventures, and he is the best director among south directors. I am happy to have launched his banner and movies,” says Anand Pandit, who will present R Chandru’s future films.
Adding to the positive sentiment, actor-director Upendra comments, “R Chandru has proved that Kannada films have a huge audience, and being a director myself, I appreciate his dedication and thought process. I am certain all these five films will cater to a global audience.”
The unveiling of the film posters saw the presence of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, emphasizing the local support for the projects. Manjunath Hegde and Ramachandra Gowda are also backing these ambitious film endeavors.
