Regarding his character Bash in ‘Fighter,’ Oberoi revealed that the portrayal of a serious Air Force Officer with a touch of innocence and childlike qualities was a conscious decision. Collaborating with director Siddharth Anand, they aimed to create a character, Bash, who would serve as a contrast to Karan Singh Grover’s character Taj, striking a balance between seriousness and light-heartedness. Oberoi highlighted the intention to make the audience fall in love with his character quickly, contributing to a more impactful emotional experience when the character meets his demise in the film.
Working alongside renowned actors like Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in ‘Fighter,’ Oberoi described the experience as a childhood dream come true.
