In a cinematic journey marked by versatility and triumphs, Jatin Sethi, the visionary filmmaker behind Naad Sstudios, is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated Tamil film, “Annapoorani,” slated to hit cinemas on December 1. Sethi, known for his adept storytelling across diverse genres and languages, has successfully captivated audiences with recent hits like “Saunkan Saunkne” and “Maurh.”
Having achieved blockbuster status with the Punjabi comedy “Saunkan Saunkne” in 2022, followed by the success of the period action drama “Maurh” starring Ammy Virk in 2023, Jatin Sethi continues to push boundaries. His upcoming release, “Annapoorani,” starring the illustrious Nayanthara, explores the theme of women empowerment within a social drama narrative. Given Sethi’s track record, expectations are soaring for this cinematic endeavor.
Jatin Sethi shared his perspective, stating, “Backing and producing films of different genres is what I aim at. I’m blessed that my earlier films have run successfully in the theaters because of the right subjects we chose and the right people on board. So, it was heartening to sign Nayanthara, the Pan-Indian star, for ‘Annapoorani.'”
Emphasizing the industry’s confidence in Naad Sstudios’ productions, Sethi added, “We are also fortunate that the Non-Theatrical Rights of all our films were sold much before the theatrical release at a very respected price. It comes along with high expectations from audiences for the films backed by Naad Sstudios. However, we have absolute faith in our scripts and the talents.”
Collaborating once again with Zee Studios and Trident Arts for “Annapoorani,” Jatin Sethi continues to foster successful partnerships. Moreover, Sethi’s future projects include the eagerly awaited “Sarpatta Parambarai 2,” a sports-based drama starring Arya and directed by P.A Ranjith, showcasing the filmmaker’s commitment to exploring diverse storytelling avenues.
