At its heart, the movie delves into the life of superstar David Padikkal, portrayed by Tovino Thomas, as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery beyond the glitz of stardom. Originally titled ‘Nadikar Thilakam,’ the film underwent a name change in January 2024 to honor the legacy of Tamil actor Shivaji Ganeshan, becoming ‘Nadikar.’
The decision to rename the film was met with overwhelming support from fans of Shivaji Ganeshan, with Prabhu Ganeshan, the actor’s son, making the announcement at the event.
‘Nadikar’ was shot over 110 days across 30 locations, including Kochi, Munnar, Hyderabad, Dubai, and Kashmir, promising a visual treat for the audience.
