In a surprising turn of events, the cinematographer for Ajith’s highly anticipated film ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ has seen a last-minute replacement. Initially, Nirav Shah was set to handle the cinematography, having joined the team for the previous schedule in Azerbaijan. However, due to unforeseen personal reasons, Shah had to miss out on the current schedule.
Stepping in as a replacement is renowned cinematographer Om Prakash, known for his work in Tamil films such as ‘Aramm,’ ‘Naane Varuven,’ ‘Thiruchitrambalam,’ and ‘Kaashmora.’ Om Prakash has already joined the team in Azerbaijan for the ongoing schedule, raising questions about whether he will continue for the entire film or just for the current segment.
‘Vidaamuyarchi’ is reported to be a suspense thriller, with Ajith undergoing a remarkable transformation for his role. The actor has reportedly shed over 15 kilograms, showcasing a noticeably leaner appearance in recent pictures. Joining Ajith in Azerbaijan are co-stars Trisha, Regina Cassandra, and Arav, making it an extended schedule for the team.
The filmmakers are targeting a summer 2024 release for ‘Vidaamuyarchi,’ aiming to coincide with Ajith’s birthday on May 1. As the suspense around the film builds, fans eagerly await further updates on the project.
