The film, based on the 2008 Malayalam novel ‘Aadujeevitham’ by Benyamin, follows the protagonist Najeeb, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, a Malayali immigrant laborer thrust into slavery as a goatherd on a secluded farm in Saudi Arabia.
