The much-anticipated film ‘Malayalee From India’, starring Nivin Pauly and Dhyan Sreenivasan, is set to hit theaters on May 1. To build excitement, the film’s makers have released a promo song titled ‘World Malayalee Anthem’. The song, reminiscent of their initial announcement video, is lively and celebrates the unique characteristics of Malayalis.
The catchy tune is composed by Jakes Bejoy and features vocals from the music director himself and Akshay Unnikrishnan. The lyrics are penned by Sharis Mohammed and Suhail Koya, with Tamil rap and lyrics by Asal Kolaar.
Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, ‘Malayalee From India’ boasts a star-studded cast including Nivin Pauly, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Anaswara Rajan, Manju Pillai, Shine Tom Chacko, Salim Kumar, and Vijayakumar. The film has garnered significant attention, particularly as Nivin Pauly recently impressed audiences with his cameo in ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’, which featured Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead. With the duo reuniting on screen, this time as buddies, expectations are soaring.
In related news, ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ has been performing well at the box office, having collected Rs 58 crore by its 11th day of release.
On the technical side, Sudeep Elamon serves as the Director of Photography, while Sreejith Sarang takes on the roles of editor and colorist. The film’s music and background score are by Jakes Bejoy, with Akhilraj Chirayil as the art director. Ronex Xavier handles the makeup, and Sameera Saneesh is responsible for costume design.
