In a display of solidarity, politicians Rahul Kanal and Baba Siddique visited Bollywood superstar Salman Khan at his Bandra residence on Sunday afternoon, following a shooting incident earlier in the day.
Rahul, who had previously celebrated Eid with the Khan family, was seen leaving the actor’s home after a brief visit. Addressing concerns from fans, he reassured the public about Salman’s well-being, stating, “Bhai is all good.” This was later shared by Salman_ki_sena on Twitter.
Shortly after Rahul’s departure, Baba Siddique was also seen arriving at Salman’s building, escorted by tight security. It was just last weekend that Salman and his father, Salim Khan, attended Siddique’s annual Iftaar party, as reported by ZoomTV.
Earlier on Sunday, two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle fired shots outside Salman Khan’s residence. This prompted the police to increase security around the actor’s home and initiate a search for the culprits, who were captured on CCTV fleeing the scene. Videos showing bullet holes marked by the police on the residence’s wall have since been circulating online.
In addition to Rahul Kanal and Baba Siddique, several other figures including Ashoke Pandit and Pooja Bhatt, as well as numerous fans, took to social media to express their support for Khan and condemn the attack. Many also raised questions about the apparent lapse in the Y+ security provided to the actor, especially in light of multiple death threats he had received the previous year.
