Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life’ hit the big screens on March 28. Directed by Blessy and based on the best-selling novel Aadujeevitham by Benyamin, the film has garnered significant attention.
On its opening day, the film made an impressive entrance at the box office, amassing Rs 15 crore worldwide. Since then, its momentum has continued to soar. On its first Monday, April 1, the film saw a minor dip, earning an estimated net collection of Rs 5.3 crore from India, according to a report by Sacnilk. This brings the film’s total net collection in India to a staggering Rs 35.6 crore within just five days of its release. Despite a 39.08 percent drop compared to the first-day collection, the decline is not considered alarming as it was a working day following a festive weekend.
The film has also made a significant impact overseas, garnering an impressive Rs 30 crore. ‘Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life’ follows the remarkable journey of Najeeb Muhammad, portrayed by the talented Prithviraj Sukumaran, a migrant worker from Kerala who finds himself stranded in the harsh deserts of Saudi Arabia. The film’s gripping storyline, coupled with breathtaking visuals and immersive sound design, has left audiences spellbound.
Prithviraj Sukumaran recently sent a heartwarming message to the family of his late fan, who had wished to watch ‘Aadujeevitham’ but passed away in 2021.
The film also boasts an ensemble cast including Jimmy Jean-Louis, Amala Paul, KR Gokul, Talib Al Balushi, and Rik in pivotal roles.
