Chidambaram’s directorial venture “Manjummel Boys” is continuing its remarkable performance at the box office, having collected an impressive Rs 22 lakhs on its 54th day of release. Starring Soubin Shahir in the lead role, the film has won over audiences with its compelling storyline and powerful performances.
Even with the release of new films like “Varshangalkku Shesham,” “Aavesham,” and “Jai Ganesh,” “Manjummel Boys” remains a preferred choice for moviegoers, retaining its dominance at the box office.
According to reports from Sacnilk, the film’s total Indian box office collections have now reached an impressive Rs 136.55 crore. Of this, the Malayalam region has contributed Rs 129.16 crore, while the Telugu region has added Rs 7.39 crore. This outstanding performance has solidified the film’s status as an all-time blockbuster.
On a global scale, “Manjummel Boys” has garnered a staggering Rs 234.25 crore in box office revenue, with overseas collections accounting for Rs 73.25 crore. The film’s total India gross collections stand at Rs 161 crore.
Released theatrically on 22 February 2024 in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, “Manjummel Boys” quickly received widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics. Its success has shattered several box office records, making it the highest-grossing Malayalam film to date and surpassing the previous record set by the 2018 hit film. Notably, it is also the first film in the Malayalam film industry to cross the Rs 200 crore milestone.
