In a noteworthy gesture, the creators of the Teja Sajja-starrer “HanuMan” have declared a substantial donation of over Rs 2.6 crore towards the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The announcement was made a day before the consecration ceremony in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya. The production company revealed that the film’s team has committed to contributing Rs 5 from each ticket sale of “HanuMan” to this noble cause.
As of now, the Telugu-language film has successfully sold an impressive 53,28,211 tickets, amassing a substantial donation sum of Rs 2,66,41,055. The Mythri Distribution team expressed gratitude to the generous individuals who have actively participated in supporting the Ayodhya Ram Mandir project. They extended an invitation for more people to join this initiative by watching “HanuMan,” emphasizing that Rs 5 from each ticket purchase would contribute to the cause.
Prominent personalities such as Rishab Shetty, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Ram Pothineni have also praised the Teja Sajja starrer, echoing their support for “Hanu-Man.”
The production company released a statement on X, expressing their honor at being a part of this historic moment. They highlighted the Nizam Release by Mythri as a significant aspect of their involvement.
Miraj Cinemas, a leading cinema chain in the country, has joined the celebration by introducing a ‘buy one-get one free ticket’ scheme for “HanuMan” shows at select locations on January 22, coinciding with the inauguration day of the Ram temple.

“HanuMan,” a superhero film directed by Prashanth Varma and produced by Primeshow Entertainment, hit the screens on Friday, garnering immense success with over Rs 150 crore in worldwide box office earnings.
At a pre-release event attended by veteran star Chiranjeevi, who served as the chief guest, it was disclosed that the decision to donate Rs 5 from each ticket sale for the Ram temple was made by the film’s makers. Chiranjeevi is among the distinguished figures from the Indian film industry invited to the consecration ceremony.
