The much-anticipated film ‘Aadujeevitham’, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and directed by Blessy, has finally hit cinemas worldwide. Based on the best-selling novel by Benyamin, the movie is a compelling tale of survival and hope.
In a recent video shared by the film’s makers, Prithviraj Sukumaran, who portrays the protagonist Najeeb, discussed the unique appeal of ‘Aadujeevitham’. He said, “The goat life is mostly about the resilience of the human spirit. And like most survival stories, the common foundation that all these survival stories will always share is the resilience of the human spirit.”
Sukumaran emphasized the film’s focus on one man’s relentless battle against overwhelming odds and harsh circumstances. He added, “It’s just one man fighting against all odds and all the adverse circumstances to make it out of there. And the fact that it is a true story makes it all the more incredible. More than anything, I think what you will connect with when you watch the goat life is that one glorious celebration of the human spirit and the strength of the human mind.”
‘Aadujeevitham’ is based on true events and follows the harrowing journey of Najeeb, a young man from Kerala who moves to Saudi Arabia in pursuit of a better life but finds himself ensnared in slavery. The film delves into the tortures he endures, the mental and physical struggles he faces, and his near-death experiences.
The star-studded cast also includes Amala Paul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, KR Gokul, Talib Al Balushi, and Rik in pivotal roles. The film’s production spanned from 2018 to 2022.
