In a glittering celebration held at the High Ultra Lounge in Bengaluru on January 13, 2024, the cast and crew of ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ marked the success of the film in style. The gala, themed entirely in black, showcased the stars of the movie, including Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, director Prashant Neel, and producer Vijay Kiragandur, all donning chic black attire.
Shruti Haasan, who took to her Instagram to share glimpses of the event, stole the spotlight in a stunning gold and black dress that perfectly complemented the glamorous ambiance. Prabhas, the Rebel Star, sported an all-black ensemble, featuring black jeans, a T-shirt, and a blazer, paired with trendy yellow glasses. The entire celebration, from the furnishings to the outfits, adhered to the elegant all-black theme.
Adding a touch of humor to the festivities, Shruti shared a playful message on a blackboard, poking fun at Prabhas, affectionately known as Darling by fans. The message read, ‘Don’t let anyone treat you like Upma, Darling; you’re Biryani.’ Videos from the event captured moments of camaraderie, with Shruti making director Prashant Neel pose for a picture and Prabhas playfully teasing her for not adhering to the all-black dress code.
Ahead of the celebration, Shruti Haasan posted a picture with Easwari Rao and Sriya Reddy, dubbing themselves the “women of Salaar.” Notably absent from the event was Prithviraj Sukumaran, currently occupied with the shooting of the Malayalam film ‘Aadujeevitham.’
Anticipating the success of ‘Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam,’ the first installment has already surpassed Rs 650 crores in global box office collections. Meanwhile, Prabhas gears up for his next projects, including the horror comedy ‘Spirit’ directed by Maruthi and Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi thriller ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.
