After the global success of ‘Hanu Man’, fans have all eyes on the sequel of Prasanth Verma’s cinematic universe which is titled ‘Jai Hanuman’. Teja Sajja who played the main lead of the film has become a beloved figure among the masses as Hanumanthu which has left speculations about his involvement in the next film.
According to an interview by Indian Express, Tejja Sajja spoke about how the pivotal focus of the film will be upon Lord Hanuman himself as the film is named, ‘Jai Hanuman’ and his character Hanumanthu might be a part of it. Sharing about the next project he highlighted the film to be touching the history angle to provide another unique narrative to the film which seems to intrigue audiences with its worldwide appeal.
Teja Sajja expressed his confidence in the success of their film, ‘HanuMan,’ emphasizing its appeal to a broad audience during the holiday season of Sankranti where the film encountered a clash with Mahesh Babu’s ‘Guntur Kaaram’, Nagarjuna’s ‘Naa Saami Ranga’ and Victory Venkatesh’s ‘Saindhav’.
‘Hanu Man’ has surpassed Mahesh Babu’s ‘Guntur Kaaram’ at the box office making an estimated 235 crore at the box office worldwide which is a huge success for a regional film that was not expected to be hitting gigantic numbers like these. With this, the movie has also become one of the biggest hits of the year in Indian cinema.
Teja Sajja stated that they never imagined comparing ‘HanuMan’ to a big-budget movie, saying it would be like comparing apples to oranges. He praised the movie’s outstanding Telugu theatre debut, pointing out that it broke records with 900 showings.
