Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, currently engrossed in the shooting of his forthcoming movie ‘Singham 3’, made a notable visit to the new Parliament building in the national capital. Rohit, dressed in traditional attire comprising a white kurta-pyjama paired with a Nehru jacket, shared his experience through a video posted on Instagram.
In his post, he expressed his sentiments, stating, “Naye Bharat ka naya Sansad Bhavan. Yeh sirf Parliament hi nahi, pura Bharat hai! Feeling proud, humbled and honoured #AtmanirbharBharat.” This garnered significant attention from his fans, who flooded the comment section with expressions of pride and admiration for the nation’s achievements.
The inauguration of the new Parliament building took place last year in Delhi, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi officiating the ceremony. The distinct triangular design of the building aims at maximizing space efficiency, housing key areas such as the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, and a Central Lounge.
Constructed using red and white sandstone sourced from Rajasthan’s Sarmathura, and Kesaria green stone from Udaipur, the building stands as a symbol of architectural prowess and national pride. Notable personalities from the entertainment industry, including Badshah, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Kangana Ranaut, among others, have also paid visits to this monumental structure.
Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham 3’ is anticipated to hit the screens soon, featuring a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff.
