Actor Rajavardhan is set to make a comeback to the silver screen after a three-year hiatus with Dattatreya’s film “Pranayam.” Expressing his enthusiasm for returning to acting, Rajavardhan mentions that the break was not intentional but a result of the pandemic and other factors. Despite the absence from releases, his passion for acting remained unwavering.
In “Pranayam,” Rajavardhan plays the character of Gautham, who returns from the US to Chikkamagaluru for a wedding. The film incorporates elements of action and emotional sequences, providing the actor with an opportunity to showcase his versatile acting skills.
Having several mass-oriented films in the pipeline, Rajavardhan acknowledges that his height and physique might stereotype him as a mass hero. However, he expresses the desire for variety in his career, aiming to avoid typecasting. The actor emphasizes the importance of impactful stories and character depth in his choice of roles.
Reflecting on his father, veteran actor Dingri Nagaraj, Rajavardhan shares that he has learned valuable lessons such as punctuality, professionalism, and on-set etiquette from his dad. Despite being the son of a seasoned actor, Rajavardhan notes that his father now trusts him to follow his own instincts in the world of acting.
