In a recent interview with India Today, Shruti Haasan, riding high on the success of her consecutive hits, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, delved into her upcoming release, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. The versatile artist shed light on her character, Aadya, emphasizing its significance in the intricate storytelling of Salaar, alongside Prabhas’s character, Deva.
Describing her role as “quiet and patient” in the face of unexpected circumstances, Kamal Haasan’s daughter expressed her excitement about the forthcoming film.
Speaking about her camaraderie with Prabhas, Shruti Haasan expressed genuine admiration, stating that she’s grateful to call him a friend. She praised Prabhas as “absolutely wonderful, kind, thoughtful, generous, and possessing a good heart.”
Highlighting the positive atmosphere on the set, she credited Prabhas for infusing great energy, making everyone feel delighted to be part of the project. Drawing parallels between Prabhas and the director, Prashanth Neel, she emphasized their shared ability to create a happy working environment.
Adding a playful touch, Shruti revealed that their on-set conversations were often filled with her sharing “stupid talks” and “unwanted information” with Prabhas. These discussions, centered around general knowledge and music, showcased a lighter side to their dynamic, with Prabhas patiently listening and sharing laughter. Shruti humorously pointed out that, more often than not, she dominated the conversation with her talkative nature.
