The comedy-drama film ‘Premalu’, starring Mamitha Baiju and Naslen, continues to charm audiences as it maintains a strong presence at the box office. On its 44th day since release, the film raked in an impressive Rs 64 lakhs, bringing its total Indian collections to Rs 67.51 crore.
According to reports from the Sacnilk website, ‘Premalu’ has consistently performed well during its first 43 days, amassing an estimated net earning of Rs 66.46 crore in India alone. The film has particularly resonated with the Malayalam-speaking audience, contributing Rs 54.92 crores to the overall collection. Additionally, its Telugu and Tamil versions have added Rs 9.76 crore and Rs 2.83 crore, respectively, showcasing its widespread appeal across different linguistic demographics.
Breaking down the film’s performance on its 44th day, ‘Premalu’ maintained a steady occupancy rate in theaters. In Malayalam theaters, the occupancy was recorded at 28.45%, with morning shows at 16.84%, afternoon shows at 29.04%, evening shows at 31.27%, and night shows peaking at 36.65%. Similarly, in Telugu theaters, the occupancy rate averaged at 20.12%, with morning shows at 17.79%, afternoon shows at 20.97%, evening shows at 18.27%, and night shows at 23.44%.
