American singers Rusty Tinder and Mike Cionni have collaborated on the English title track for the upcoming Kannada film, “My Hero.” The song, recorded in a Los Angeles studio, showcases Rusty’s folk-rock style, adapted to complement the track’s theme. Rusty expressed excitement about the song’s captivating output and looks forward to the audience’s reaction, highlighting the enjoyable collaboration with director Avinash.
Mike Cionni also shared his positive experience working with Rusty Tinder and emphasized the film’s compelling narrative. Both singers were drawn to the movie’s exploration of the struggles faced by marginalized individuals in various cultures, addressing issues like caste and racism.
Director Avinash Vijay Kumar commended the unique collaboration, noting the instrumental contributions from Taylor Kropp, Paul Allen, and Will Golden. This marks the first time these musicians have worked on an Indian film, a rare accomplishment according to Kumar.
