Following the lukewarm reception of his recent films ‘Bandra’ and ‘Thankamani’, actor Dileep is preparing for the release of his upcoming movie ‘Pavi Caretaker’. The film, touted as a family-centric entertainer, stars Dileep in the lead role and is set to hit theaters on April 26.
The announcement came with the unveiling of a new poster on March 14, which not only revealed the release date but also introduced the audience to the five female leads, all of whom are making their debut in the project. In the teaser released earlier, Dileep was seen sporting a distinctive blue uniform as he navigates through humorous situations while playing the character of Pavithran, a middle-aged single man tasked with apartment caretaking duties.
Despite Dileep’s recent film ‘Thankamani’ hitting theaters on March 7, it failed to impress both critics and audiences alike. The movie, based on real-life events from the 1986 Thankamany riot, received mixed reviews, with many attributing its shortcomings to a lackluster script and clichéd moments.
