Dileep’s latest release, “Pavi Caretaker,” has shown a notable uptick in performance over the weekend. On its first Sunday, April 28, the film raked in Rs 1.30 crore, surpassing its opening day earnings. According to a report by Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 1.05 crore on its second day and Rs 1.15 crore on the third day, bringing its total India net collection over the first three days to Rs 3.56 crore.
Directed by Vineeth Kumar, “Pavi Caretaker” has garnered attention with a 37.28% occupancy rate in Malayalam cinemas on Sunday, indicating its popularity among family audiences. The film features Dileep along with actors Johny Antony, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Dharmajan in key roles.
ETimes rated the film 3 out of 5, describing it as a quintessential Dileep vehicle with elements of slapstick humor, emotions, romance, and action reminiscent of ’90s movies. Despite its familiar formula, the inclusion of progressive dialogues adds a contemporary touch to the narrative.
