In a significant development, the eagerly awaited trailer for Chapter 2 of Barun Sobti’s ‘Rakshak- India’s Braves’ has been revealed. The series, based on true events, pays tribute to the bravery of Naib Subedar Sombir Singh and DYSP Aman Thakur. Both heroes sacrificed their lives in a close combat encounter with A++ category terrorists in Kulgam district, mere days after the tragic Pulwama Attack on an army convoy.
Barun Sobti, essaying the role of Naib Subedar Sombir Singh, expressed his deep honor in being part of the project on Amazon miniTV. He remarked on the joy of portraying a character that explores the depths of patriotism, duty, and the heroic narrative of the unsung heroes of the nation.
Surbhi Chandna, another pivotal actor in the series, shared her happiness about contributing to ‘Rakshak’. She spoke passionately about the enriching experience and honor that the journey brought, emphasizing the series’ beautiful capture of the spirit of patriotism and its heartfelt tribute to the nation’s brave soldiers.
Notably, Bigg Boss Kannada 10 fame Vinay Gowda also paid tribute on the fifth anniversary of the Pulwama Attack, stating, “We remember, we mourn, and we stand strong.”
